Well, what's another week without a little controversy.
Due to a busy schedule, this week's recap will be short and sweet;
Game 1: The Skeleton Crew battled it out with the short-staffed, but fully game Canniballs. The Crew extended their winning streak to 6 games with a gritty 16-12 win. The Canniballs fell to 1-6, despite playing most of the game with only 8 players.
Game 2: The Crew and the Dawgs matched up and we welcomed our first "over the fence" homers of the year as three bombs were laced over the right field fence. The two teams fought hard and the Crew walked away with a 16-9 win, moving the Crew to 7-0 on the year.
Game 3: The Marvels and Sexpos met up on a field and the Sexpos walked away with a 10-5 win, moving their record to 4-2 while the Marvels fell to 2-5.
Game 4: The Franchise and Dawgs butted heads in the early (almost late) afternoon affair. The Dawgs simply couldn't find their bats and the Franchise shut them down, taking the game 7-3. The Franchise move up to 2-4 on the year sitting in 7th, while the Dawgs fall to 6th with their 3-4 record.
Game 5: The Aces and the Nads starred in the feature game of the day and it left the crowds wanting more with the Aces eking out a 13-12 win and moving themselves into a 3 way tie for 2nd place - all three teams hold 4-2 records (Sexpos, Nads, Aces).
Game 6: The final game of the day was an early evening affair, but unfortunately resulted in a forfeit by Seymour Results. The Riddlers take the win and move to 4-3 on the season - ending their three game slide. Seymour Results fall to 1-6 and sit in 9th.
Remember - June 4th, we are back to our regular FBL field.
