In the opener, the Skeleton Crew took down the Marvels in a tight affair - walking away with an extra-inning 8-7 victory to keep pace with the leaders, sitting a half game back, improving their record to 6-2.
The Aces knocked the Sexpos from top spot in the league to take it over themselves, pulling out an 11-6 win - also allowing Miss Laura to take home the Sexpos SPFK Squares For Kids jackpot! Kudos to Laura for donating $100 back! The Aces improve to 7-2 while the Sexpos fall to 6-2.
The third game of the day say a rarity in slow pitch, and definitely in the FBL - a shutout. The Franchise took no prisoners and hammered Seymour Results, 21-0 for their 4th win of the year. Seymour falls to 0-8.
In the early afternoon affair, the Nads took on the Riddlers and triumphed with a sound 15-9 thumping, bumping their record up to 5-3 and sit in a tie for 4th, while the Riddlers fall to 3-5, good enough for 8th in the league.
In the finale, the Dawgs and Kids went tete-a-tete only to see the Dawgs bark their way to 12-10 victory. The win moves the Dawgs' record up to .500 (4-4) while the Kids fall to 1-8.
