Well, the sun came and it brought the heat! Along with it - it brought a long day on the field for all involved.
In the opener, the Franchise continued their strong play of late and put it to the Riddlers to the tune of ##-##. With the win, the Franchise complete the season sweep of the Riddlers and own the tie breaker with them (2-0), moving the Franchise up to 7th.
In the late morning game, the Skeleton Crew and Dawgs hooked up for a rematch from week 3, where the Dawgs upset the Crew 10-6. The Crew took it to the Dawgs early on, building an 8 run lead until the Dawgs put up a 5 spot to close in. Alas, it fell just short as the Crew walked away with a 12-9 win and upper their record to 8-3, trailing only the idle Aces.
On the other diamond, the Riddlers and Seymour teamed up under the midday sun and heat and pasted the ball all over the field - resulting in a 13-9 Riddlers victory. With the win, the Riddlers improved to 5-7 for the season and now sit in 8th spot. With one week remaining, the Riddlers need some magic to occur to move out of 8th spot.
In the 1p game, the defending tournament champs, VC Marvels squared off against the tiring but upbeat Seymour team. In a surprise to all watching, Seymour pulled off their first win of the season, holding on for a 15-12 win! In the loss, the Marvels fell to 8-4 and into 5th overall. Seymour bumps their record to 1-11, remaining in last place though due to the idle Kids (forfeit and now 1-11 as well) holding the tiebreaker over Seymour.
On the north diamond, the Sexpos and Dawgs hooked up for the first time this year and in a slow match, the Sexpos pulled out a 9-4 win over the Dawgs on the heels of a 4-run first and solid defense. The Dawgs fall to 6-6 on the season and sit in 6th, one game up on both the Riddlers and Franchise.
At 230p and the days final game due to the Aces/Kids game being marked a forfeit win for the Aces, the Sexpos and Nads went at it in a rematch from week 3 (a 16-15 Sexpos win). The Sexpos stormed out to a solid 8-3 lead, but in one lapse, the Nads put up 5 on the board to even things up after 6. The Sexpos ended up stranding the winning run on 3rd to lead to extra innings. It was there that the Nads put their proverbial foot down and rattled off 9 runs, overwhelming the Sexpos and taking the game 17-12. With the win, the Nads move to 8-3 and sit in a virtual dead heat with the Crew - with a double header between the two teams next week to decide the regular season title. The Sexpos fall to 8-4 and with that loss cannot defend their regular season title.
As it sits now, the Aces are in top spot, with the Crew/Nads a half game back followed by the Sexpos and Marvels a full game game back.
The following are unofficial scenarios of what could play out next weekend. If you find an issue with anything noted below, please contact House and provide your understanding / scenario (please refer to Rule 15 for Tiebreaking procedures)
Scenario #1: 5-way tie for 1st (Crew)
Should the following take place next weekend, we could end up with a 5-way tie atop the standings:
- The Skeleton Crew and Nads split their double header (resulting in both teams being 9-4)
- The Sexpos beating the Dawgs leaving the Sexpos at 9-4
- The Marvels beating the Aces leaving both the Marvels and Aces at 9-4.

That would result in the Skeleton Crew winning the regular season title.
(additional order of teams would be determined later if this happened).
Scenario #2: 4-Way Tie for First (Nads)
If the Sexpos lose, but the Crew/Nads split, and the Marvels beat the Aces, we would have a 4-way tie atop the standings at 9-4. This scenario would result in the Nads taking home the title by virtue of the best winning percentage between games involving those teams in the tie atop the standings):

(additional order of teams would be determined later if that happened)
Scenario #3 - Aces / Crew tied for 1st (Crew)
If the Aces and Crew finish tied atop the standings (10-3), the Crew would take home the title by virtue of a 5th level tiebreaker:
- both teams would be 10-3
- they split their regular season games (1-1)
- They both have the same winning percentage against the Sexpos (1.000) and Marvels (1.000)
- The tiebreaker would be resolved in the winning percentage against the Nads (Crew: 1.000; Aces: 0.000).
Scenario #4: Nads and Aces Finish Tied for 1st (Nads)
If the Nads and Aces finish tied atop the standings (10-3), the Nads would be crowned Regular Season Champs by benefit of their 2-0 regular season record against the Aces.
